Chemical Peels

Safe and effective for improving and preventing most skin conditions

At Gonyon Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery's MedSpa, we use a trusted brand name of PCA SKIN® Chemical Peels. PCA SKIN®is the originator of advanced blended chemical peels, has been and continues to be a trusted industry leader in the development of effective treatments for professional use and products for patient use for over 25 years. PCA SKIN® has some of the skin care industry's highest standards for quality and efficacy.

Chemical peels are made with medical grade acids derived from natural sugars.

As we age, the process of skin replenishing itself with young healthly cells slows.  During a chemical peel, a liquid solution applied to the face exfoliates the top layers of skin.  The skin below with better tone and texture is revealed and the peel works to create new cells that function properly to correct issues from within.

We offer both TCA and modified Jessner peels with optional boosters that are customized based on skin goals or areas of concern.

What is the downtime after a chemical peel?

How frequently should I get a chemical peel?

Chemical peels can be done every 2-6 weeks depending on treatment goals, client requests and skin sensitivity.  This frequency mirrors the skin’s natural monthly cellular replenishment.  A schedule to produce desired results will be recommended by a certified professional at your consultation.
